Dr. Rose Stewart
Dr Rose Stewart has 10 years experience of working in mental health services in the UK and qualified there as a Clinical Psychologist in 2012. She spent a significant amount of time working in London with parents with emotional difficulties after qualifying.
Rose works with children/adolescents, families, couples and adults and aims to provide a tailored service to help clients to work towards their own goals for change.
Rose is trained in a range of evidence-based psychological therapies and has particular interests in working with anxiety disorders, parent mental health, children of parents with mental health difficulties, perinatal mental health, attachment and separation difficulties in children, child development (including Autism Spectrum Disorders), and post-traumatic stress reactions to trauma.
Rose completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Psychology in 2003, a Master of Science degree in Developmental Psychopathology in 2006 and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2012. Rose’s doctoral research focused on the parenting experiences of mothers with Borderline Personality Disorder.
